Data Protection Information for the Processing of Applications

"Personal data" means any information relating to the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person.

In the course of an application, in addition to general information such as name and address, e-mail addresses and other contact information as well as curricula vitae, references and, if applicable, certificates are also included.

The collection, processing (storage, modification, transmission, blocking and deletion) and use of personal data by us takes place exclusively in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.

We only collect, process and use personal data if and to the extent permitted by law, in particular to establish, execute or terminate contractual relationships, or if you have given us your consent to the use of your data. We keep a record of the necessary consents. The granting of such consents is always voluntary. Consents can be revoked at any time with effect for the future under the legal requirements. Revocation is possible by sending a corresponding notification by email to info@Hoffrogge.com, by fax to the German number +49 (0) 44 31 - 70 77 222 or by post to Hoffrogge GmbH, Am Spascher See 2, D-27793 Wildeshausen.

When you apply for a position with us, we process the data you provide in order to carry out the application process and to decide on the establishment of the employment relationship.

The legal basis for processing data related to your application is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG. 
The legal basis for processing data is Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR if consent has been given. The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of email communication not related to an application is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. If the email contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

We generally delete your application data six months after completion of the application process, unless legal provisions prevent deletion, further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence, or you have expressly consented to longer storage.

After successfully completing the selection process, your application documents will remain with the company for the duration of your employment.

Should you be of the opinion that the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.

If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or in cases of correction, deletion or restriction of processing as well as withdrawal of consents granted and exercise of your right to data transfer, please contact our human resources department or our data protection officer.

We use Microsoft 365 and other services (Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Sharepoint) provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, to receive and store your messages and the personal data transmitted with them, including replying to your messages and further external and internal communication. We have selected Germany exclusively as the location for data processing by Microsoft; we do not use Microsoft 365 Copilot.
